Tip when hiring a carpet cleaner...
1) Price, what are you really getting for the money. Don't go cheap
2) On time always ask if they're busy, your time is worth something..
3) How long before the carpets are dry? Remember it's not steam it's hot water!
4) When your carpet tech shows up watch to see if he vacuums first! If not send him away...
5) Don't be afraid to ask questions. A good experienced tech can answer swiftly.
Steam cleaning is not steam used for cleaning... It's water very hot water... and lots of it.
ask your carpet cleaner to please double vacuum to remove as much water as possible.
Not all carpet cleaners are in such a hurry that getting the water from the carpets is a bad request.
